“Nobody Contacted Me, Told Me The Reason,” Disheartened Hanuma Vihari On INDvsWI Test Snub

The Indian cricket team started its new cycle of the WTC with the start of the first test match of the 2-match series against West Indies which is being played at Windsor Park Dominica. While Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ishan Kishan made their test debut in the first test match, there are few names that played an important role in making the team reach the finals of the WTC 2019-21 but they are completely missing from the list of the players who were considered for selection for the West Indies tour.

One such name is Hanuma Vihari who was a part of India’s historic win in Australia in 2019 but since then, he hasn’t played much for the country and as of now, the selectors are not even thinking about him.

Currently, Hanuma Vihari is playing for South Zone in Duleep Trophy in Bengaluru and during an interview, he opened up on being ignored from the selections. Hanuma Vihari stated that he was certainly disappointed and what bothered him the most was that he was not able to find the reason behind getting dropped and there was no one who contacted him and told him about the reason.

Hanuma Vihari further stated that now he has made peace with selection, he said that though it took time, he had his ups and downs but now he is no more worried and doesn’t take much stress whether he plays for team India or not because there are many other matches to win and many other trophies to win.

Well, moving on is the best thing and we are happy that Hanuma Vihari doesn’t stress about selection in the Indian squad but his fans want him to make a comeback. Do you also want to see him back in the team?
