Farah Khan has finally broken her silence on the viral video that claimed she ‘ignored’ actor Aayush Sharma. The video, which circulated widely online, showed Farah and filmmaker Karan Johar walking past Aayush at the premiere of Homebound. Many viewers believed that the two deliberately overlooked him.

Responding to the claims, Farah commented on one of the viral posts, dismissing the chatter as baseless.

“Pls stop writing nonsense.. I can never ignore anyone.. least of all Ayush.. just shot a vlog with him and Arpita.. just didn’t see him in all the rush.. making it slow motion just to make it look bad?” she wrote, according to a leading publication.

The short clip that sparked the discussion started with Aayush posing for photographers on the red carpet. Moments later, Karan Johar and Farah Khan were seen passing by without acknowledging him. The moment, slowed down in the viral edit, quickly grabbed attention and fueled online gossip.

This isn’t the first time Farah and Aayush have shared the spotlight. Earlier this year, Farah visited Aayush and his wife Arpita Khan Sharma’s lavish Mumbai home for one of her YouTube vlogs. During their conversation, Aayush made a lighthearted revelation about firing his chef after realising that ordering food online was cheaper. He mentioned that the family now usually gets their meals from Arpita’s mother’s home.

For those unfamiliar, Aayush Sharma, Salman Khan’s brother-in-law, entered Bollywood with the 2018 romantic drama Loveyatri, co-starring Warina Hussain and Ronit Roy. While the film did not fare well at the box office, Aayush later earned praise for his performance in Antim, an action drama where he starred alongside Salman himself.

Looking ahead, Aayush is set to appear in My Punjabi Nikaah, a comedy-drama directed by Sohail Khan and featuring Sanjay Dutt. The release date of the film is yet to be announced but fans are eagerly awaiting his next big screen outing.
