Modi’s note ban has become the talk of the town. PM Modi believed this action was extremely necessary for curbing corruption, black money and fake money. In just one day, Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes were turned into a worthless piece of paper.
However, this is not it; PM Modi has given one more blow and said that further action would be taken after 30th of December, after the 50 day window (10th November- 30th of December) is over. Further, he gave an assurance that honest people won’t be affected at all.
While addressing Indian community at Kobe (Japan) Modi said
“I would like to announce once again that after the end of this scheme, there is no guarantee that something new will not be introduced to punish you (thikane lagane ke liye),”

He very sternly said that he won’t spare anyone and if he finds anything unaccounted, strict actions would be taken. Talking about this, the PM said;
“I make it very clear that if anything unaccounted comes up, then I will check its records since Independence. Will deploy as many people as required for this. Honest people will not face any problem. No one will be spared. Those who know me, they are intelligent as well. They think it is better to offer it in Ganga than in banks,”
Yes, many people were seen disposing these old notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 in Ganga river, because they knew that if they would deposit the amount in their bank accounts, they would get caught and will have to face a lot of hassles.
He also saluted people for the way they dealt with these hardships after the announcement. Modi says
“I salute my countrymen. People stood in line for four hours, six hours but accepted the decision in national interest the way people of Japan tackled the aftermath of the 2011 disaster,”

Further, the Prime Minister said that keeping it a secret was extremely essential, and at the same time he also said that he never expected so much appreciation.
Hats of our PM! At this time, we can’t take even his single statement lightly….
