There have not been many days when a diamond export firm refused to give job to a Muslim boy, creating an example of religion discrimination and now here’s one more well-known organization headed on the same path.
Siddhant Mehta, a Facebook user, posted a screenshot on Thursday wherein some girl listed out reasons as to why she denied an offer at HCL (Hindustan Computers Limited), which is no doubt counted amongst the top companies of India. The caption he gave on his Facebook post was “Oh Yes! This girl rejecting HCL offer like a boss”.
Now everyone would wonder why she did this!
Shivani got appointment letter after a long period of 3 years when HCL selected her through campus recruitment. But the thing is not done yet; what worse happened is that she had only 3 days to respond. At this, it’s natural for the girl to get angry and in rage, she rejected HCL’s offer.
Speaking of her recruitment, she was selected in September in the year 2011; however, there was no response from HCL since then. Shivani could not participate in other companies’ recruitments, as she was already selected by an organization.
According to her, she forgot about any such job in Hindustan Computers Limited because she didn’t receive an offer letter from the company for the last 3 years.
To mention what Shivani wrote, “Moreover, you are asking me to accept the offer in 3 days while you took almost 3 years to send out your joining date?”
Not only this, she gave a rap on the knuckles and rebuked the organization owing to the fact of HCL’s rolling out letter of appointment right away because of its market condition. The moment it turns to even worse, many employees will be exorcised.
Additionally, it wasn’t shocking for her that the company never once apologized for what it has done.
