Recently, Bipasha Basu hit the headlines for her unethical and unprofessional behavior. Yes, the actress was supposed to walk the ramp as a showstopper at a Fashion show in London but backed out and that too at the very last moment.
Since that time, there has been a controversy between her and the organizers of the fashion show. After that, Bipasha’s spokesperson wrote an open letter, which highlighted that the allegations against her were just rumors.
However, the organizers stuck to the point that she behaved unprofessionally and became all the more furious about being defamed in the open letter; they said that she’ll have to compensate and pay for the damages. The organizers have collected all evidences against her, which they feel are enough to justify the truth. Now, they have plans to take legal action against Bipasha.
Since Bipasha suddenly backed out, the organizers of the show had to bear a big monetary loss and this is the reason they feel that taking legal action against her is the right decision.
Now, the coordinators of the show, Roniata Sharma Rekhi and Gurbani Kaur stated that Bipasha has just 2 options; either pay 25,000 pounds i.e. Rs 2,00,000 as compensation or face legal consequences.
Gurbani said
“Bipasha has to compensate us with 25,000 pounds (approximately Rs 20 Lakh) which is our calculated loss. If she fails to do so, I will take legal action against her.”
Roniata added that Bipasha’s claims of being bullied by the organizers is WRONG; instead, they were the ones who were bullied by her.
She further added
“We have suffered not only monetary loss but her open letter defames us and we might even lose our reputation. We went out of our way to give her everything that she desired. Her claims of getting bullied are all rubbish. In fact, it was we who were bullied by a celebrity. She was extremely unprofessional and unethical in her commitment.”
