As you all know India vs Pakistan match was a super-enjoyable one, when India paved its way ahead, leaving Pakistan team behind.
However, when the team returned, things were definitely not good for them. They were greeted with a very hostile attitude. Yes, it is sad to see the way their fans greeted them when they arrived on Sunday at Lahore airport.
There was a lot of buzz these days about Shahid Afridi. However, he did not have to bear this shame. He decided not to travel with the team since he wanted to spend some leisure time in Dubai.
When the players returned, they had to face various chants such as ‘Shame Shame’ after landing in Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International airport.
Even though there was tight security at the airport, people there did not spare the players. They gave them a very shameful welcome.
Since Pakistan didn’t make its way to the Asia Cup finals, it had to return back out of the ICC World T20 series.
Now, Afridi, the T20 skipper would also take a decision about his future in couple of days.
