The whole nation was shattered after the demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes by Modi government on the 8th of November. Long queues were seen outside banks and ATMs since the time this announcement was made.
Yes, people are struggling hard to get their old notes exchanged. The exchange limit was Rs 4,500 per day but now it is again reduced to Rs 2,000 per day.

Moreover, since ATMs aren’t calibrated for new currency, people are facing a problem on that front too. In this process of exchanging and withdrawing cash, people have become FRUSTRATED.
However, Modi government has given a major relief now! Yes, now forget ATMs and banks; even petrol pumps will dispense cash from now on!
You heard that right; these petrol pumps would give Rs 2,000 per day, per person, on swipe of credit card and debit card. As of now, this facility is available with 2,500 petrol pumps. Very soon, this facility would be extended to 20,000 Petrol pumps.
Here’s what Doordarshan tweeted;
