The 24 years old Pakistani singer, Momina Mustehsan took our hearts away when she performed in Coke Studio episode with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and they both recreated the charm and magic of Nusrat Fateh Ali’s “Aafreen Aafreen”.
But as her fans were getting soaked in her voice and beauty, she gave them a shock when she disclosed the news of getting engaged to Ali Naqvi, a US-based banker, in a small and private ceremony in September, 2016.

However, there were rumors that the engagement may have been broken and now Momina has herself confirmed it through a Snapchat post.
She revealed her relationship status when she posted a photo of a gift that she received on the Valentine’s Day. The caption read, “Single girls get Valentine’s gifts too. Thanks @beoneshopone.”
The gorgeous singer then took to micro-blogging site Twitter on V-Day and made all the information public in a post with caption, “To all concerned about my engagement.”

Here is the message:
“Yes, our families have mutually agreed to call off the engagement. Earlier when the news broke, I had requested everyone to not jump to conclusions and to not speak on my behalf on such a personal matter, and let me be the one to make the announcement when need be. No one gets engaged to have it called off, but sometimes things don’t go the way you would have wanted to or thought. Such is life. Fortunately, the best part about life is that it goes on. It has to J I would appreciate if no further speculations are made.”
Last month only, there was news that Momina and Ali’s relationship was in trouble and everybody was busy speculating. It was then Momina took to Instagram and demanded space for herself.
Well, what all we want is to listen to her more and see her smiling, don’t we?
