Pandya Played Against Australia Wearing Mumbai Indians Gloves! Twitterati Goes Crazy About It

The much exciting match between India and Australia came to a halt due to the rain yesterday. However, the Indian Team was in much stronger position compared to Australia and hence was declared a winner by D/L method.

India scored good 281/7 in 50 overs run while Australia managed to score just 137 losing out 9 wickets in just 21 overs.

Hardik Pandya & MS Dhoni brought Team India out of Danger Zone

Although India had a wonderful victory against Australia on Sunday, it was a tough start for them. Team’s openers failed to create any charm with their bat and even Virat Kohli couldn’t score. He returned the pavilion without breaking the duck.

Manish Pandey got out at 0 and Kedar Jadhav at 40 leaving all the responsibility on the shoulders of Hardik Pandya and MS Dhoni. Both of them calculated the situation well and led Team India towards a respectable total with their excellent partnership.

Hardik Pandya adopted an aggressive approach and scored 83 out of 66 balls. His batting involved 5 fours and 5 sixes. Dhoni on the other hand maintained good standing by scoring 79 out of 88 balls. Both of them together brought the team out of the danger zone and set a respectable target for Australia to chase.

Apart from the striking performance of Hardik Pandya, one thing that caught everyone’s attention was the Mumbai Indians gloves he was spotted wearing during the match. It seems like the gloves brought great luck on Hardik’s side as he was on a smashing spree.
