Often we come across incidents about flights being delayed due to celebrities or VVIPs, but very rarely we encounter a situation wherein Celebs are offloaded from the flight. Yes, Payal Rohatgi, the former Bigg Boss contestant faced a similar experience with Jet Airways. Payal and her BF Sangram were not allowed to board the Mumbai-Trivandrum flight since they reached late. Instead of accepting her mistake, she went on angry rant against the airways on Facebook and Twitter. Here’s the video..
Now, you might be wondering why we claimed that it’s her mistake, isn’t it? At the very start of the video she says she reached the airport at 6.20 am for taking the 6.50 am flight i.e.just 30 minutes in advance. Doesn’t she know the rules of the airways? Here’s the screenshot from the official website of Jet Airways!
As per official rules, Jet Airways requires the flyers to reach the security gates at least 45 minutes in advance since the gates close 25 minutes before the flight takes off. So, if we go by the airline rules, she was supposed to reach there at 6.05 am! It was totally her mistake and she can’t expect flight rules to change just because she is “Flying business” and because she is a celebrity. Rules are rules and no matter how big a person is, he is required to follow them.
However, it seems that Payal wanted to create a big controversy out of this. She even posted some fake Screenshot on Facebook, in which it is claimed that the gates close 15 minutes before the flight takes off. This was a good way to justify herself, but unfortunately she was wrong.
Not only this, she even added the “Communal” angle to this incident; Payal said that 2 security officials at the Gate Nadeem and Abdul did so because they were biased. Payal said just because they were Muslims they didn’t allow her to enter inside.
Here’s the tweet….

She should have thought logically and considered that they were just doing their duties, why did she have to insert the secularism element into it? She also said that Nadeem and Abdul must be sacked from Jet Airways. One thing should be made very clear that social media is not a place for differentiating and sparking controversies between Hindus and Muslims. Being a celebrity, she should understand that her words mean and lot and so she should have spoken very carefully. However, there were few logical social media users who gave it back to her properly.
Social media is being taken for granted
You can take another flight
You should know the rules
Be punctual
Don’t use religion!
Payal Rohtangi’s cry of foul play by Jetairways is just another drama that she wants to create on Social Media, no wonder she was a BIG BOSS contestant. That’s what they do right? Shout, blame and gain more publicity. Her funda in Big Boss house worked really well and now she is trying the same scheme in the practical world by sparking out communal fights. It’s our sincere request to all the readers to help her realise the gravity of her utter foolishness.
