India pacer Arshdeep Singh has remained in the spotlight throughout the IPL 2026, not only because of his performances for Punjab Kings but also due to several social media controversies. Now, the left-arm fast bowler has caught attention once again after most of his Instagram posts suddenly disappeared.

Fans recently noticed that Arshdeep appears to have either deleted or archived more than 200 posts from his official Instagram account. At present, only 44 posts are visible and among the removed content is reportedly a viral reel featuring Virat Kohli from the 2025 Champions Trophy.
While celebrities often clean up their social media profiles, the timing of Arshdeep’s move has raised questions because of the criticism he has received over the past few weeks. Neither the cricketer nor his team has given any official explanation regarding the sudden change.

Earlier this month, Arshdeep faced backlash after sharing a clip involving Indian teammate Tilak Varma. During a casual interaction, the pacer made comments related to Tilak’s complexion while joking with him. He also mentioned Mumbai Indians batter Naman Dhir during the exchange.
Although the conversation appeared to be friendly banter between teammates, many social media users criticised the remarks and accused Arshdeep of promoting colourism. Despite the controversy growing online, both Arshdeep Singh and Tilak Varma have remained silent on the matter.
On the field, Arshdeep’s IPL 2026 season was also mixed. The Punjab Kings pacer finished as the team’s highest wicket-taker with 14 wickets in 14 matches. However, his performances lacked consistency and he struggled with control in several games, conceding multiple wides during the tournament. He ended the season with an economy rate of 10.20.
Punjab Kings, who were runners-up last season, narrowly missed a playoff spot this year by just one point despite winning six of their first seven matches.
What do you think, what would have been the reason for removing all the posts?
