It’s an open secret that a petition was filed against “Pehredaar Piya Ki” by angry users who couldn’t digest the marriage of a 10-yr boy and 19-yr girl. What worked as salt to their injury were the romantic sequences between the odd couple and their honeymoon.

Yesterday we informed you about the decision of BCCC regarding the petition and petitioners might be satisfied to some extent at least to know that Sony TV is directed for shifting the show’s telecast from 8:30PM to 10:00PM. Just to inform, the petition was filed for putting a ban on the serial or change the timing of its telecast. “Pehredaar Piya Ki” invited flak and wrath of people even before it was aired on TV, as it allegedly promoted child marriage.

Some days ago, producers of the show, Shashi Mittal and Sumeet Mittal, stated that people have misconceptions regarding the show but now after the involvement of BCCC, they are also under pressure to take some steps for satisfying the furious audience.

The market of rumors is abuzz with the news that “Pehredaar Piya Ki” might take a leap much earlier than it was scheduled and viewers will get to see Diya as a 30-yr woman, while Ratan will be shown as a young man of 21 years. What’s more, their wedding will also become legal by then and they will be shows as good friends.

As per several sources, the show will have an interesting twist and audience will get to watch a love relationship between Diya and Abhay. Does it mean that a love triangle will be introduced soon? Well, it will be exciting to see what turn the show will take after all these major developments.

Talking of the change in slot, it will really be a tough task for Sony TV to shift the show, as “Beyhadh” is going good at 10PM and the slot of 10:30PM is reserved for “Crime Patrol”. KBC will be aired for 30 minutes, whereas “Vighnaharta Ganesha” is scheduled to be telecasted at 9:30PM. Additionally, “Ek Deewana Tha” and “Haasil” are also lined up.

“Pehredaar Piya Ki” is facing troubles in terms of TRP too. In the beginning, its rating was 1.1 and gradually, it decreased to 0.8. This rating might further decrease if its timings are changed, as in the slot of 8:30PM, it has the least competition with other shows taking into consideration the fact that “Chandra Nandini” is also not enjoying a good TRP. However, “Piyaa Albela” on Zee TV indeed has a better TRP rating in comparison to these shows.

It will be interesting to see what action the channel will take with regard to “Pehredaar Piya Ki”! Let’s wait and watch!
