This Peon Used To Film Girls In Loo. Here’s How His Plan Got Failed & He Was Detained

Women need to be very careful whenever they use the changing rooms or loo in a public place as there is a chance that spy cams are installed in those places.

Vijay Shivthare (29), who used to work as a peon in an institute, has been taken into custody by cops on Wednesday night on the charges of filming girls in a ladies washroom of a famous senior college in Vikhroli. His shameless act came out in open when a student found a mobile with camera on in the loo.

A 19-yr student went to use the loo around 9:30 am where she took notice of a tiny black glass which was fixed between the cardboard and bricks of the window shelf. She was shocked to the core on finding a mobile phone being planted over there.

The investigator told,

“The girl saw that the camera of the phone was on which meant that it had been recording for some time. She rushed to her teacher who informed the college authorities.”

Shridhar Hanchate, the senior inspector of Vikhroli police station, said that the peon, who was working for the past one year in the college, was the prime suspect as he had access to all the toilets. Moreover, the case was solved very quickly as the mobile phone had contact numbers of Vijay’s friends and family members.

Police will also investigate to find out as if this is the sole incident or Vijay has been filming girls secretly on a regular basis. Shridhar said,

“We have seized his phone and are investigating the content.”

The peon has been booked under IPC section 354 which deals with outraging the modesty of a woman and section 66E of the IT Act which deals with the punishment for violating other’s privacy. Vijay can face a jail sentence of maximum three years and a fine of up to Rs. 2 lakh.

This is definitely a shameful incident and we request women to be more cautious while using toilets in such places.
