Pankaja Munde, the rural development and conservation minister clicked some ‘drought selfies’ which caused too much outrage on social media after pictures were posted on Twitter after she visited Latur, the drought-hit district on Sunday.

She had visited Latur for reviewing the de-silting work which the Maharashtra government was carrying out. After circulation of selfies on social media, people accused her of being insensitive to the people’s plight. They condemned her actions and the Congress even stepped in for demanding her resignation.

Shiv Sena, the ally of BJP too grabbed an opportunity for hitting out at her. Manisha Kayande from Shiv Sena stated that it is not right to click such selfies in serious situations. They must control their actions and Pankaja should have avoided doing such as thing.
