We are talking about the lavish wedding ceremony of the daughter of Janardhan Reddy, a businessman-turned-politician who is popular with the name of “Bellary King”. The wedding date is close and you’ll be astounded to know about the arrangements.
Now when the wedding is going to be so grand and extravagant, there’s no wonder that arrangements are at full blast and you won’t find any dearth in the “big fat Reddy wedding”.
The family has already started primary rituals on an impressive and majestic set that seems to be a replica of Vijayanagara Empire’s ancient city of Hampi.
The Reddy family reached Bangaluru’s Palace Grounds in a special chartered plane decked in finery to execute rituals of four days.
The wedding of Reddy’s daughter has become a sensation on Internet and social media for past month owing to quite fancy invitation cards.
For performing the marriage rituals, a total of 8 priests from Tirupati Thirumala temple are brought in.
At Purandara Mantapa, the Reddy family will perform Pooja of the family deity Lord Venkateshwara.
To give this wedding a unique and ethnic touch, the wedding set includes recreation of a Bellary village, Cowl bazaar, Hampi’s splendid monuments and not to forget the school where Reddy went for studies.
Sets giving impression of bungalows for the couple are recreated in an area of 36 acres.
VVIP guests will enjoy the cushioned bullock carts ride from entry point to the Mandap. What’s more, dining place will have the look of a typical Bellary village.
The center of attraction will be a Vijayanagara-styled temple made by Bollywood art directors. To add more spice to this much-talked about wedding, celebrities from Tollywood as well as Bollywood might also attend the ceremony.
I wish I could attend this never-seen-before wedding!
