If you are a frequent visitor of bars, pubs and discos, you must have witnessed that if a woman is sitting alone, there are good chances that she will be approached by single men for drinks or friendship and some of them are the ones who don’t understand the meaning of “NO”.
Sometimes, men also face such situation but mostly, women encounter irritating persons. However, there are few men who intervene and save women from such harassment. In this case, most of them pretend to be their brother, friend, boyfriend or husband. Women also do such favours and here we present the incident happened with Amna at a bar and how another woman came to her rescue.

Amna is a Scottish-Pakistani writer and she took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to share such an experience which she had once and how a stranger helped her out.
She tweeted,
“guy: …just one drink
me: no thank you
guy: come on it’s just a drink
me: look, i’m sorry I just want to read my book while i wait for my bf
guy: what ur bf doesn’t let you have friends?
random woman: Clara? Hi! *hugs* (whispers) u ok?
women are great”

When a man asked her how to help a girl in this situation without inviting trouble:
Any advice on how men can do similar without also coming across as creepy/invasive? My go to is a 'dude back off you have been told shes not interested' but it can cause people to get aggro which could be a problem later in the night..

Amna gave the reply with one of her experience and also told another subtle way of helping the girl:

After this, people started sharing their own experiences or tips on how to handle such situations:

Also you can distract the guy with a very genuine question. Like "scuse me could you tell me what time it is?" or my brother even did a "scuse me have you ever heard about the love of our lord Jesus Christ" when he was wearing a classy enough outfit
