It’s very important for good movies to collect money at the box office because at the end of the day movie-making is a business. We are happy that a movie with soul, content and good performance is getting appreciated at the box office.
We are talking about Phillauri, starring Anushka Sharma, Suraj Sharma, and Mehreen Kaur Pirzada. The movie in which Anushka Sharma is seen as the cute bhoot ‘Sashi’ is winning hearts all over. As we already told you in our earlier box office report, Phillauri made 4.02 Crore on Day 1 at the box office. The day 2 collections are even better.
As per trade experts, the figures that are above 3 Crores in the weekend is not just good but amazing. Well, looks like Phillauri has hit the bull’s eye.
The medium budget film, which is made in 21 Crore has already recovered 12 Crore via satellite rights. The remaining 9 Crores to surpass the breakeven is not difficult, looking at Day 2 collections.
So the movie collected around 5.20 Crores on Day 2. The total two days collection is 9.22 Crores.
