It’s an open secret that alcohol has a drastic effect on human personality and no matter how strong people show themselves, it does affect them somewhere and that change is apparently visible through facial expression.
Marcos Alberti, a Brazilian photographer, has brilliantly clicked faces and expressions of his friends under a venture which shows how a person starts changing after first, second and third glass of wine. The third glass transforms their persona completely and the one whom you can see is an altogether changed individual.
In the beginning, they had a sober face followed by a gentle smile which slowly turned into laughter and finally changes into a sloshed one. There is no denying the fact that it depicts the impact of alcohol on our personality which is mighty enough to transform you into an absolutely different person.
In the words of the artist, “There is a saying about wine that I really like and it’s something like this, ‘The first glass of wine is all about the food, the second glass is about love and the third glass is about mayhem’. I really wanted to see for myself if that affirmation was in fact true.”
“I started this project because if you search for alcohol on the internet you only can find bad stuff about it. I wanted to show the good side of it – of course, between friends who are drinking responsibly in a good environment. It’s like portraits during happy hour,” he further said.
