Photographer Shot The Wrong Couple For 6 Long Hours By Mistake But The Pics Are Damn Beautiful

Marriage proposals should be very unique and extraordinary settings as well as preparations are required to make the moment special for your love. Agree? Quite naturally, one needs to be very careful in terms of planning and implementation for making the occasion flawless and unforgettable.

A guy from Wisconsin probably had the same thoughts in his mind when he got in touch with Jacob Peters, a photographer, for capturing in his camera the unusual moment when he would be proposing to ladylove at the time of sunrise and what a brilliant location he chose for this, Hawksbill Crag located in Arkansas. If you know about the place, you will definitely say that there can be no better location for a mind-blowing and memorable wedding proposal.

The whole plan was secretive and a surprise for the girl but it took an entirely unexpected and undesirable turn when Jacob captured some other couple mistakenly. What added to his dilemma was that he didn’t have any clue about the couple he wrongly clicked. As reported by The Independent, the photographer accepted the offer and for reaching the location timely, he started at 2:30am, hiked for about one hour with equipment weighing almost 13kgs and finally set up for shooting the proposal from a distance. The photographer was unable to make contact with the man because of the absence of signal.

The couple arrived at the location and the girl said “Yes”! The photographer clicked all the beautiful moments and things were going on as he planned. Here’s what Jacob posted on Facebook, “I stick around for 10-15 minutes after, just taking photos. Then they sit down watch the sunrise and I figured my job’s done, I’ll pack up and hike out.” However, he found himself in a tight spot when he contacted the client, gave him best wishes and ensured that he clicked superb photos. The client said, “I’m confused, we never saw you and we got there a little late, are you sure it was us?”

Jacob shared the shocking incident on Facebook, “So basically I spent 6 and half hours, 40$ in gas and food, 450 photos, and took the wrong couples photos.” He also requested netizens for helping him reach the real couple whom he clicked and amazingly, he actually found them out. He updated his post and wrote, “The couple has been found and contacted and they now have their photos.”

Below is his Facebook post:

“UPDATE: The couple has been found and contacted and they now have their photos. For anyone interested, they are from Dallas, TX. Thank you to everyone who shared. The internet never fails to amaze me.

I need help!

So a guy from Wisconsin contacted me to take photos of him proposing to his girlfriend up on hawksbill crag at sunrise. He wanted to keep it a secret from his girlfriend and surprise her with photos. I wake up at 2:30am. Start heading to Whitaker’s Point. Get there at 4:45. Start hiking into the woods with ZERO light besides my cell phone flash light. After 45 minutes of hiking and not seeing any signs of the actual place I’m supposed to be I turn around. After 10 minutes of backtracking I run into some college age kids who have been there before and they tell me I was heading the right way. So I turn around and follow them. I get to my spot around 6:00 am. Set up and wait for the couple to show up. Around 6:17am a young couple shows up. It’s them. I’m sure of it. A little late but still not too late. They go up onto hawksbill crag. Hang out for a few minutes and then it happens. He pulls out a ring, kneels down behind her. She turns around and starts crying and hugs him and it’s obvious she said yes and all went well. I stick around for 10-15 minutes after, just taking photos. Then they sit down watch the sunrise and I figured my job’s done, I’ll pack up and hike out. After another 1 hour hike with 30 pounds of camera gear, I finally get back to my car and head home. Got home around 9am and since I finally had service I send the guy a text saying congratulations, the photos are beautiful. I’m glad it all worked out and then I take a nap since I was very exhausted. I wake up to a text saying “I’m confused, we never saw you and we got there a little late, are you sure it was us? I was in a blue plaid shirt…”. So basically I spent 6 and half hours, 40$ in gas and food, 450 photos, and took the wrong couples photos. If anyone knows who this couple might be PLEASE tell them to reach out to me, I’ll gladly give them the photos. They were engaged on 5-6-17 at 6:17A.M. on Whitaker’s Point/hawksbill crag.”
