There is no doubt that photos are more effective than written text, the simple reason being the person watching the photo gets a clear understanding of the situation as visuals are always more powerful than written text. Photos also have a faster impact on the emotional side of the person; photos clicked in happy situations make a person happy every time he looks at them, while photos of sad situations can also bring tears in the eyes of people.
There are many aspects of this world, if one is joyful than other is related to grief. We mostly prefer to look at the better side of the story but we can’t ignore the hardships that are being faced by the under-developed countries. In some poor countries, leave aside the basic amenities, people are not even getting two time meals and the children of these countries are the one who suffer the most. There are many countries where the majority of the kids are malnourished and thanks to the social media, we get to know their situation as photographers are sharing their photos on social media networks.
