Yesterday, Rahul Gandhi, the Vice President of Congress accused PM Modi of taking money from Birla and Sahara groups; however, today the PM gave it back to him and mocked Rahul saying he has now learnt the art of delivering public speeches. He took a jibe at Rahul while addressing BJP workers in Varanasi today.
Moreover, he also trolled all critics of demonetization including former PM Manmohan Singh and former Finance minister p Chidambaram, of course without naming anyone. He laughed off at all the accusations that Rahul Gandhi had made with regards to corruption.
Modi hit out at the opposition party Congress, and stated that he never thought that political leaders would be in support of corruption. He also referred to his “Political” earthquake.
Talking about Rahul’s earthquake remark, Modi says “Good that he has started speaking because if he would have stayed quiet, an earthquake would have occurred which would have taken 10 years for the country to get over with.”
PM Modi said;
“They have a young leader who is just learning to give speeches. Since the time he has learnt to speak, there is no limit to my happiness. In 2009, you couldn’t even tell what is inside this packet and what is not. Now we are finding out.”
