PM Modi’s Note Ban Has Disappointed Makers Of Rock On 2! 1st Weekend Collections Are Very Poor!

Rock On 2, the musical drama has completed its 1st weekend, but the collections are very poor on all 3 days. Yes, the film couldn’t make much impact at the Box Office, even though it was a solo release.

There were 2 things that were responsible for these poor collections. Firstly, there was lack of pre-release buzz and secondly, the demonetization move of PM Modi acted as a hurdle.

This Shujaat Saudagar movie had a terrible weekend, as it could just collect Rs 7.01 crores. The makers are highly disappointed and are repenting their decision of releasing this movie at such a critical time.

Earlier, the producer of the movie, Ritesh Sadhwani was going to postpone this movie in the Indian market, but then he thought that it would give rise to piracy, since the movie was already released in the UAE market. However, if you have a close look, you will find that the collections of the movie have increased day by day;

Day 1 – Rs 2.02 crores

Day 2 – Rs 2.41 crores

Day 3 – Rs 2.58 crores

Total – 7.01 crores!
