Bharatiya Janta Party won the 17th Lok Sabha election with majority of the votes. The election was held on 542 seats out of 543 LOK SABHA seats. However, a party or alliance needs at least 272 seats to form a government. NDA got around 350 seats out of 542.
International Leaders and celebrities took to Twitter to congratulate PM Narendra Modi after the results were announced by the Election Commission.
Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Shilpa Shetty, Ajay Devgn, Raveena Tandon, Varun Dhawan, Parineeti Chopra, and Karan Johar also congratulated Narendra Modi for returning to power again.
Miss universe Manushi Chillar even took to her Twitter account to congratulate Narendra Modi for winning the 17th Lok Sabha election.
She wrote, “Being my first ever elections as a voter, this one has been special! Congratulations @narendramodi sir and the leaders of @BJP4India. India has exercised its democratic right and now its time to fulfil our duty as citizens of the country for a better tomorrow #LokSabhaElections2019.”

Narendra Modi replied to the tweet, he wrote “Thank you for the good wishes @ManushiChhillar. One of the most remarkable things of this election has been the record participation of first-time voters. This makes our democracy stronger and more vibrant.”

However, the Rocky star Sanjay Dutt also congratulated Narendra Modi for his magnificent victory in the election.
