The Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is not just known for his wonderful performances in movies but he is also famous for his love for the game of football. The “Padmavati” actor is an ardent supporter of Arsenal FC ad he doesn’t miss a chance to follow the Premier League as well.

Now, Ranveer Singh has entered into an official partnership with the Premier League and as an ambassador of the League in India, he will be promoting the fans events and the initiatives of the league all across the country.

Ranveer is quite passionate about the game and now he will be able to share his passion with his fans too in the events, such as International Fan Park in Bengaluru which was hosted by the league and was attended by 20,000 fans.

Ranveer announced this news himself on the micro-blogging site Twitter when he shared a pic with caption, “Extremely proud to be the first official brand ambassador of the @premierleague in India ️ Game on !”

Premier League’s partnership with Ranveer will also further strengthen its relationship with the Indian Super League (ISL). ISL was founded in 2013 but its first season was played in 2014 and in the same year, ISL and Premier League signed a mutual cooperation agreement.  Since then, both the leagues have shared and exchanged ideas, strategic support and knowledge, which are helpful in the development of the game and in increasing its reach in India.

The Premier League has earlier also reiterated its commitment to support and develop the game both at the grassroots level and top level in the country.

The Managing Director of Premier League, Richard Masters, said,

“Ranveer Singh is a passionate Premier League supporter who connects with fans across India and the world. His knowledge of the game and commitment to its development and growth, both domestically and internationally, is what has led to the creation of this partnership.
