Poster Boys: 2nd Day Collections Out & The Figures Are Much Better Than The Opening Collections

The film “Poster Boys” has been entertaining the audiences and it seems that it has struck the right cord with the viewers. Even though it had a dull opening, the figures are much better on the second day!

Yes, that’s right! Sunny Deol starrer has shown a steady growth on the second day after its release and as expected, the collections have increased to a significant extent.

“Poster Boys” has earned Rs. 2.40 crore on Saturday, which means that it has registered 37.14% growth on the second day.

Here’s what Taran Adarsh tweeted:

The movie earned Rs.1.75 crore on its opening day and the trade experts were very hopeful that the collections would pick up in the weekend.

Day 1 – Rs. 1.75 crore

Day 2 – Rs. 2.40 crore

Total – Rs. 4.15 crore

“Poster Boys” also stars Bobby Deol and Shreyas Talpade in the lead roles and is expected to perform well in the Hindi belt of northern states of India taking into consideration the fact that Sunny Deol has a good fan following in these states.

The movie is based on a real story of three men who find their photos published on a banner promoting vasectomy while in reality none of them underwent any such surgery. A Marathi film on this story line has already performed well on the box-office and this flick holds a special place in the life of Shreyas as he made his directorial debut with “Poster Boys”.

Let’s see how it performs on Sunday. What do you think?
