Pragyan Ojha Hits Back At The Troller Who Used Bhatta For Him With A Befitting Reply

Mumbai Indians (MI) is the most successful IPL team with four IPL wins but their start in the IPL 2020 was not as per their expectations as they lost their first match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) which was the tournament opener as well. Nevertheless, Mumbai Indians bounced back pretty strongly in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and won it by 49 runs.

The MI skipper Rohit Sharma led from the front as he scored 80 runs for which he played 54 balls. He was well supported by Suryakumar Yadav who scored 47 runs in 28 deliveries. MI posted a good total of 195 runs on the board but KKR crumbled for just 146 runs after losing 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

The KKR bowler who seemed to struggle the most was Pat Cummins. The Australian pacer has been bought by the franchise for a huge amount of Rs 15.5 crores. Pat Cummins bowled many short deliveries and Rohit Sharma and other batsmen of MI took the complete advantage of it. Pat Cummins gave away 49 runs in 3 overs and didn’t even get a single wicket.

Former Indian cricketer Pragyan Ojha took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and criticized Pat Cummins. He tweeted, “Can someone ask #PatCummins if he has not seen @ImRo45 bat before or their analyst has not shown him the strength of the #hitman. If you bowl to him there, he will keep hitting you out of the park all day.”

However, an online user decided to troll Pragyan on his tweet and wrote, “Did anyone tell you that you bowled “bhatta” all your life?”

Pragyan Ojha has his ups and downs of career and 2004 was one of the low phases of his career. In 2004, he was banned from the International cricket due to his bowling action but the slow left-arm spinner worked on his action, remodeled it and made a comeback on the cricket field soon.

The online user used the world bhatta which means chucking and Ojha was in no mood to remain mum. He hit back at the hater with a befitting reply which read, “I guess you live in fools paradise it was all over the news and I was asked to remodel my action. I rectified my mistake played for Bengal, Mumbai Indians and India A.  What made you think if you talk about my past, I will be disturbed … Get matured… boy.”

Pragyan has played 24 test matches for India in which he has taken 113 wickets and as far as IPL is concerned, the left arm spinner has taken 92 wickets in the 89 matches that he has played.

Hopefully Pat Cummins will prove himself in the next match.
