After the mysterious death of Balika Vadhu fame Pratyusha Banerjee, one name whom all her friends and family members doubted is actor-producer and her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh. They are of the opinion that Pratyusha was depressed due to her relationship with Rahul since she was madly in love with him and wanted to get settle.
However, their relationship was not very smooth; in fact, it was going through a bad phase which pushed her to the state of depression that eventually resulted in her tragic demise; nevertheless, it cannot be said with confirmation whether it was a suicide or a murder. What’s more, people who know also Pratyusha closely are also doubtful about Rahul’s former girlfriend Saloni Sharma’s involvement in her death.
In a nutshell, Rahul Raj Singh is considered the main accused responsible for the death of the actress and hence, a case of intimidation, abetment and assault had been lodged against him. The FIR had been registered under IPC Sections 323, 506 and 306 on account of the statement given by Soma Banerjee, mother of Pratyusha, with Bangur Nagar cops.
But Rahul Raj was reported to have been unwell and in an unstable condition for which he was admitted in the hospital on 4th April and the recent update in the case is that, after being discharged, cops will take him into custody. Till now, statements of 12 persons have been recorded with regard to the case.
