The popular comedian turned actor Kapil Sharma has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. He indulged in an ugly mid-air brawl with Sunil Grover while returning to Mumbai from Australia and this episode changed his life drastically. Post the scuffle, Sunil quit The Kapil Sharma Show (TKSS) and along with him, Ali Asgar, Sugandha Mishra and Chandan Prabhakar also bid good bye to the show. It became difficult for Kapil to manage TKSS and his health deteriorated. This all resulted in cancellation of shoots frequently and finally the channel decided to scrap the show.
Kapil had high hopes from his movie “Firangi” but that too failed miserably on the box-office, pushing the ace comedian into the state of depression. After this all when he was finally about to make a comeback with Family Time With Kapil Sharma, he had a war of words with Sunil on the micro-blogging site Twitter and later rumours started doing rounds that Kapil cancelled few shoots of the new show as well. The grapevine is that the new show has also been put on hold due to Kapil’s unprofessional and immature attitude.
In the meantime, Kapil stirred controversy when he made offensive and abusive tweets for Spotboye editor Vicky Lalwani. He even filed a case against Vicky, Neeti and Preeti Simoes for trying to extort Rs. 25 Lakhs from him. Vicky Lalwani also leaked the phone call recording between him and Kapil Sharma in which Kapil can be heard abusing Vicky in the worst possible manner. This all further hampered Kapil’s image; however, his fans and well-wishers are concerned more about his health.
Recently, Preeti Simoes and Ali Asgar talked about Kapil Sharma in an episode of Saas Bahu Aur Saazish on ABP News. Ali Asgar opened up about the disturbing condition of Kapil. As per him, he was shocked to see that Kapil has written the name of Preeti Simoes on his hand.
Preeti said that she met Kapil a couple of months ago. In her words,
“Kapil was finally ready to work with me and the team and we organised a meeting but the day he was supposed to meet me, he texted me that I won’t be doing it.”
Preeti feels that probably Ginni Chatrath, Kapil’s fiancée, didn’t want him to work with her and the team. At the same time, Preeti added that the entire team is pretty concerned about the health of Kapil and wishes to reunite.
Here’s what she told Indian Express,
“See he is a talented guy and he is ruining his life with these things. I have time and again maintained that we are open to reconciling and working together but I know the people around him would never let him do that. Also his ego would not allow him to join hands with us, but me, Neeti and the entire team has always been open to the idea of getting back together to once again reign over television.”
