Kings XI Punjab has been on a roll as Chris Gayle is hammering the opposition bowlers left and right. The Indian cricketer KL Rahul who is playing for KXIP this time is also making life tough for the bowlers of other teams and these two players make a deadly opening pair.
If you remember, this year in the IPL auctions, Chris Gayle remained unsold on the first day which is obviously like an insult for the player of his stature considering his T20 record. Twitter trolled RCB, the franchise for which Chris played for quite few years, but they didn’t retain him this time as he didn’t perform well last year.
KL Rahul has also been performing in a spectacular manner and recently, he scored the fastest fifty of IPL.
After winning the match against Kolkata Knight Riders, the co-owner of KXIP Preity Zinta interviewed KL Rahul and asked many questions as to how it is to play with Chris Gayle and what is special about Rahul this year.
Rahul was candid in this interview and he expressed his desire to make more runs and make his new franchise win as many matches as possible.
However, there was a moment when Rahul put Preity in a tight spot and asked her whether she wants to make a promise to her fans that she will do something special if KXIP wins the IPL Trophy like Shah Rukh Khan did.
Preity accepted the challenge and said that she will definitely do something special if her team wins IPL.
