Malayalam actress Priya Prakash Varrier became an Internet sensation earlier this year simply with a wink.
The song from her upcoming debut film Oru Adaar Love became a huge hit and everyone was singing it even though they didn’t know the meaning. Her wink became the favourite topic for memes and the fan following of Priya increased dramatically.
Her film is yet to release but she started getting online and TV brand endorsements soon. And now we hear that Priya has charged a whopping 1 crore for the latest commercial she has shot for.
Earlier there were reports that she charges 7.5 lakhs approx per endorsement but now she has increased her price so much. We ask, why not? Her demand is so huge that she must increase the price.
A brand-expert has been quoted as saying by Bollywood Life-
“She shot for the commercial on Friday morning. It was a heavily guarded shoot, as it marks her debut in the national ad-space. We have been informed that she has been paid around Rs1 crore to endorse the brand. That’s a huge sum for a newcomer.”
