Priyank Sharma appeared to be a strong contestant of Bigg Boss 11 in the beginning and in fact, host Salman himself saw a finalist in him. However, things didn’t take place as expected and Priyank had to leave the house just in the first week’s end.
Priyank broke rule & was ousted:
Priyank made a physical assault on Akash Dadlani and broke the most important rule. As a result, makers and the “Sultan” star were compelled for taking an action against the contestant and consequently, he was ousted from the Bigg Boss house.
Priyank’s girlfriend Divya doesn’t want him to re-enter BB house:
Needless to say, when Priyank was shown the exit door, a number of people wished to see him again in the house and were of opinion that he should be given one more chance. However, his girlfriend Divya Agarwal doesn’t think likewise and as per her, Priyank shouldn’t make it to the show again.
He came out with respect:
Despite the fact that Priyank lived in the BB house for a very short span, Divya is happy that he maintained his dignity and didn’t continue to live inside the house at the cost of his self-respect. In her words,
“I would say that it was a very short and sweet journey that he had. I am really proud that he came out with respect. Now that I have been a part of one reality show, and he was on his third one, so I can understand what situations you face, be it inside the house or be it inside a villa. In Splitsvilla also, I had a phase when I was triggered so badly that it made me show that side of me which I never wanted to. As a person, everybody has his negatives and positives. But I am glad that his negative side was very much genuine and valid.”
I never saw him like this:
Divya continued that if she had been in the place of Priyank, she would have a fiercer and worse reaction. She further said that his personality is subtle and that’s why, it was extreme for her boyfriend, adding that she never saw him like that. Here’s what she said,
“When I got to know about his eviction from Bigg Boss 11, I was just hoping that the reason should be ethical, and I felt good that he supported his brother. If I was in his place, I would have reacted much more worse. Since Priyank has a very subtle personality, the reaction was extreme for him because I have never seen him like that ever.”
Bigg Boss is not for Priyank:
Divya is of the opinion that Priyank is a simple person and he is not able to handle evil stuffs which take place inside the Bigg Boss house and that’s why, he should not go back to the show. As per her,
“Initially when he told me that he has been offered to be on the show, I was the one, who encouraged him a lot. But right now looking at the situation inside the house, I don’t think Priyank is made to be in that mess. He is a very simple person, and it’s not that he can’t deal with negativity, but things inside the Bigg Boss house are evil.”
Both Salman & Priyank are right:
On the question of the decision by makers and Salman, Divya answered,
“Salman Khan’s point of view was justified, again what Priyank did was also right. So I think they both are right. I totally respect their perspectives and actions.”
Even though Divya couldn’t meet Priyank, she talked to him over phone and said,
“He was obviously not very happy. But then he is quite overwhelmed with the massive support that he is getting.”
Their relationship:
Their relationship started when they participated in MTV Splitsvilla and here’s what she told Bollywood Life about their bond,
“We genuinely got connected. And there were many reasons for us being together. Our likes, dislikes, the way he lives, and despite being in this industry, we still have that little orthodox mentality about a few things and society. So all of this actually connected us really well. It’s not that we didn’t have hardships on the show. There were times when we wanted to be together, but we couldn’t. But now when I see the episodes, I realise that whatever happened on the show, it somewhere gave us a lot of attention commercially. But then that time when we were going through that phase, it was difficult.”
