Indian athletes in India as very talented, no check-list is required to prove it. We have conquered the stage both on national and international level. But the only regret that persist is the getting the due credit for been such a great athlete in India.
The way cricketer are hyped and are undoubtedly over-rated, even if 1% of the attention was given to other sports, the country would have produced great sports person and athlete, and others would have joined the brigade willingly, bringing more fame and respect to India. But let us take this in a sporting spirit as well, for India’s body builder Wasim Khan has no qualms about no getting much-needed media attention.
But here we are, R.E.S.P.E.C.T.I.N.G and waving the credit the man deserves, Wasim Khan has won two international title back to back, International Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation event in Rome last month. And, last year also he was the trophy holder of IBFF World Title in Slovenia. And, with two back-to-back win Wasim Khan has become the only Indian in the history to hold the World Title at IBFF continuously.
