The modern day woman is the not the one who likes to hide behind the identity and achievement of her husband but she prefers to make her own identity and achieve those milestones which were once considered impossible for her. Though a lot has changed over the years in terms of mindset and attitude of the society, there is still a section that hates to see women getting successful and they don’t leave a chance to disrespect them.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas, the actress, first made the country proud by winning the beauty pageant of Miss World in the year 2000, then she entertained us with her acting in Bollywood movies and now she has become one of the most successful international actors. Recently, the actress got very upset and angry with a publication because in an article published by them in connection with her upcoming movie “Matrix Resurrections”, they addressed her not with her name but as ‘the wife of Nick Jonas’.
This didn’t go well with Desi Girl of Bollywood who took to her official Instagram handle and posted the screenshot of the article with the caption, “Very interesting that I’m promoting one of the most iconic film franchises of all time and I’m still referenced as ‘the wife of…”
She also wrote, “Please explain how this still happens to women? Should I add my IMDb link to my bio?”
