PV Sindhu once again made India proud as she clinched the title of maiden Super Series Premier after defeating Sun Yu in the China Open finals. Yes, Sindhu was successful in getting this prestigious title as she beat Sun Yu 21-11 17-21 21-11 in the 69 minutes clash.
Sindhu stated that this was her long time dream and finally, when it was fulfilled, she was speechless.
She further added
“It has been a dream for a long time to win a super series. After the Olympics, everyone was asking me whats next? It was important for me to get a super series title. Life changed a lot after the Olympics. People thought I will take a long time to get back. But I worked hard,”
Sindhu said that she could do well, because she practiced hard and gave her best. Her confidence made her fetch this title.
She clinched the 1st game 21-11, but lost the 2nd 17-21. Instead of giving up, she tried hard and won the 3rd game 21-11. India is proud of her win; let’s have a look at congratulatory tweets…
