Qandeel Baloch, the popular internet sensation is murdered! Yes, you got it right; Multan her brother murdered her on Saturday.
As per the reports, the RPO told that “Baloch was killed by her brother over honour in Muzaffarabad’s Green Town area,”
However, the officials added that owing to security threats, the location wasn’t disclosed by Baloch. Moreover, her brothers had even asked Qandeel to quit modeling.
Earlier, there were claims by Qandeel that she was receiving death threats and she wanted some security. However, she even submitted an application to the interior ministry for her personal security. However, due to ‘no response’ Qandeel Baloch had plans of settling down Abroad after Eid.
Do you know why these security threats? Well, due to recent scandal with Mufti Abdul Qawi. Yes as per reports, Qandeel had told that “I know I will not be provided security and I am not feeling secured here so have decided to move abroad with my parents after Eidul Fitr,”
Well she had driven the internet crazy with a video and selfies of herself with a former member of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Mufti Qawi. Moreover, after this controversial content was released, Qandeel had ridiculed him on various TV channels.
Owing to these events, Mufti Qawi was suspended from Ruet-e-Hilal committee.
Her real name was Fauzia Azeem but when she stepped into modelling, she changed it to Qandeel. However, on Wednesday, Aashiq Hussain made claims in TV interviews that he married Baloch and they had a son.
After this interview, Qandeel agreed to the same but said that they had divorced. She added that her husband used to beat her up.
She added that “He never told my child I am his mother. It was a forced marriage.”
Qandeel said that she was 17 when she got married, but it all got over in an year. Further adding she said “He tortured me day and night during the one year I was married to him,”
Moreover, Qandeel said “After a year, I ran away with my son and sought refuge in Darul Aman.”
After divorce she didn’t contact Hussain. Now, she was going to fight for the custody of their son but she had given up since her son fell sick and the treatment couldn’t be afforded.
