Indians love food and an interesting fact about them is that they don’t just love to eat themselves but also invite people and serve them with delicious delicacies. The best part of Indian food is that we have accepted a number of things from other cultures too and this has enhanced taste of our food as well as variety of our dishes. Considering the fact that we are a food loving nation, there is no chance that a restaurant with lip-smacking food will not find customers.
Munaf Kapadia, an MBA graduate from Narsee Monjee, was enjoying his life working at Google. Nevertheless, one thing was troubling him and that was his mother’s love for watching boring serials on television. As his mother is a great cook and knows how to cook scrumptious and different varieties of food, he decided to set up “The Bohri Kitchen”.
It has been two years now and even in such a short span of time, the restaurant has become one of the most famous dining places of Mumbai.
If you visit this restaurant, you will be welcomed with a 7-course meal which will comprise of assorted starters, main course, beverages, desserts and condiments.
It has already been appreciated by Bollywood celebrities like Farah Khan, Rani Mukerji, Huma Qureshi and Ashutosh Gowarikar but TBK is not a restaurant where you can have your favorite meal every day.
If a person wants to visit TBK, he/she needs to contact Munaf or his team because it is an invite only event and it is based in Munaf’s house only.
TBK is open on Saturday and Sunday only and even if you can’t make it to his home, you can use the option of delivery or ask them for catering an event for you.
Munaf, who has already appeared in the Forbes Under 30 list, says, “I am inviting these people to my home, I need to know who they are.” Quite amazingly, his company has a turnover of Rs. 50 lakhs yearly.
So if you are from Mumbai, you just can’t afford to miss the opportunity to dig your teeth in these delicacies.
