Salman Khan starrer “Race 3” released just a day before Eid and swiped away the market as the flick has managed to enter 100 crore club on its third day itself. This is highly commendable on the part of the movie as its business was hampered due to pre-Eid release.
But Sallu Bhai once again proved that he is Sultan of blockbuster and nothing can stop his movies from earning a huge sum in a very short span of time no matter whether the film has a good story or worth-watching content or not.
Yes, you read it right! “Race 3” has received negative reviews from audience and critics alike and there’s hardly anyone who has praised the flick. From plot to screenplay, from direction to performance, all are below the mark and the movie has obviously disappointed the fans to a great extent. However, it has been doing great business and we really won’t wonder if “Race 3” makes it to 200 crore club soon.
Talking about the third day collections of “Race 3”, the flick minted whopping Rs 39.16 crore on Sunday, totaling the earnings to Rs 106.47 crore in the first weekend itself.
Day 1 – Rs 29.17 crore
Day 2 – Rs 38.14 crore
Day 3 – Rs 39.16 crore
Total – Rs 106.47 crore
