Radhika Apte is among the most talented and hottest actresses of the present time and there’s not the least doubt about it. No matter whatever role she plays, she brings life to all her characters and the same is the reason that despite being featured opposite amazing actors like Akshay Kumar and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, her charm never fades away. She’s a versatile actress and has proved her caliber in various movies including “Padman”, “Manjhi: The Mountain Man”, “Phobia”, etc.
However, like all other newbies, she also didn’t have an easy entry into B-Town and had to give several auditions for getting movies.
Recently, Radhika appeared on BFFs with Vogue, chat show of Neha Dhupia, with Rajkummar Rao. When Neha asked her about her weirdest audition till date, Radhika disclosed that she had the craziest audition for “Dev D” of Anurag Kashyap, as she was asked to do phone sex.
Here’s what Radhika said,
“The weirdest audition was when I had to have phone sex for Dev D. I had to tie my hair or eat a lollipop or something. And I used to live in Pune, and I never had phone sex till then ever. But I did it and it was great fun. Although I didn’t get the part…clearly.”
Talking about her so-called affair with Ekta Kapoor’s brother Tusshar Kapoor (which the duo actually never had), Radhika said,
“There were rumors of me dating Tusshar, well, I didn’t even have Tusshar’s phone number. I used to find all this so funny because I wasn’t used to it.”
