Rakesh Roshan’s Good Gesture Might Make SRK Postpone ‘Raees’ Once Again! What Is Happening??

There has already been a lot of buzz surrounding the big clash i.e. ‘Kaabil’ V/S ‘Raees’, which would hit the big screens on the Republic Day Weekend. Amidst all this, one more news of clash between the two, has surfaced online.

Rakesh Roshan talked about his plans of releasing ‘Krrish 4’ and scheduling it for Christmas 2018 weekend. Since then, social media users just can’t stop talking about the 2nd clash.

If you remember, earlier we had reported about how SRK has already booked the Christmas 2018 slot well in advance, for his upcoming movie ‘Bandhua’, in which he would be essaying the character of a dwarf.

However, as soon as Rakesh Roshan came to know about the release of SRK’s flick on the same weekend, he decided to choose another date for ‘Krrish 4’ so that clash can be avoided.

Roshan emphasized on the fact that he had no clue whatsoever that the Christmas 2018 slot was already taken by SRK. He says;

“It is unethical for me to release my film on this date as Shah Rukh has already announced his movie.”

When asked if Kaabil would be postponed, Rakesh Roshan says a big ‘NO’. He adds;

“I had announced the date for ‘Kaabil’ earlier. If they are coming on the same date, then I can’t do anything about it.”

Rakesh Roshan talks about ethics and says that he is here to make movies and not to create those unwanted controversies. He treats SRK as his younger brother and had also given him break in ‘King Uncle’. After that, the duo has worked together in ‘Koyla’ and ‘Karan Arjun’.

Further Rakesh Roshan maintains that even if SRK requests him to postpone the release date of ‘Kaabil’, he won’t do so, as he has announced the release first.

He says

“When ‘Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai’ was releasing on January 14, 2000, Aamir Khan’s ‘Mela’ was coming on January 7, Shah Rukh’s ‘Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani’ on January 21 and Anil Kapoor’s Pukar on February 4. Some distributors suggested I move my film as Hrithik was a newcomer. They left the film because I didn’t change my release date.”

It seems Rakesh Roshan has his own rules and no matter whatever happens, he will simply NOT change them. However, shifting ‘Krrish 4’ to avoid clash with ‘Bandhua’ is definitely a good gesture of Rakesh Roshan. Does this give us a hint that SRK might postpone ‘Raees’ once again as a respect to this gesture? Since SRK’s relation with Roshan is very good, he might be forced to give in once again. Only time will tell whether ‘Raees’ gets postponed or not.

We are happy that the 2nd clash is not happening. What is your take on this guys? Do let us know your thoughts in our comments section below.
