Ranveer Singh is undoubtedly one of the most loved and popular actors of the present era and he has amazed us with his mind-blowing performances in movies such as “Bajirao Mastani”, “Padmaavat”, etc. There is no denying the fact that he has made some of his films’ characters alive and memorable with his powerful acting which is why he has made a place of himself in Bollywood in a short span of time. Ranveer had fallen in love with movies in his childhood; in fact, once he was also suspended from the school and you will be surprised to know that the reason was Shah Rukh Khan.
During an interview, the “Band Baaja Baaraat” actor revealed that he was suspended from the school because he was caught listening to the hit song of that time “Chaiya Chaiya” from the movie “Dil Se” in the class. The song was shot on the moving train and featured SRK and Malaika Arora. It won’t be wrong to say that the track is very popular even nowadays and people still love to shake their legs on its tunes.
The actor said that he was born in 1985, adding that it is 90s era which defines him and he followed everything –movies, music, pop culture, fashion, etc. He called himself a kid or a product of television as when other children used to play outside, he used to watch TV. Ranveer also took the name of serials that he used to watch, such as “Dekh Bhai Dekh”, “Zabaan Sambhalke”, etc.
In an old interview when Ranveer Singh was asked about his comparison with Shah Rukh Khan, he said that he can’t be compared with SRK as the latter’s contribution to the Hindi cinema is immense and unmatchable. Ranveer Singh praised the King of Romance a lot and said that SRK is a very humble and modest person.
As per Ranveer, Shah Rukh Khan meets him in the same manner still today as he used to meet him when Ranveer was new to industry. Ranveer also told that they both never talk about movies and though he refused to tell what they discuss, he said that they talk about only random things.
