Rasoi On Wheels Is A Blessing For Underprivileged Kids ! They Are Doing This WONDERFUL JOB !

Giving has not made anyone poor.

The quote is rightly said by Atul Kapoor, one of the five partners in QBA Restaurant running from an 800sq.ft. kitchen base in Cannaught Place, New Delhi.

Kapoor rejects the idea of feeding leftover food to the underprivileged and has requested the misguided Good–Samaritans that if you want to help, feed them freshly cooked basic food, rather than feeding those fat–laden leftovers that they have never heard or tasted. After all, who does not like fresh home cooked food.

Rasoi on Wheels functions out of Maruti Van that has been converted into a meal van. It is a brainchild of Atul Kapoor and has come really far from where they had started, from serving 11000 meals in the first month to 30000 meal packages.

There’s amazing variety in the delicious food package from rajma-chawal to kadhi-chawal, chole-chawal, veg noodles, packaged mango juice, etc. And all this comes with a meagre amount of Rs. 35 to 65. Atul does not deny the fact that he is not earning any profits, but he assured that the margins are way minimal than those of the fancy restaurants.
