Sooraj Barjatya’s late 90’s release family drama Hum Saath Saath Hain featuring the song “ABCDEFGHI..” has been copied from the song “Porque te vas” (Because you are leaving) performed by the singer Jeanette in the year 1974. The song gained popularity and was a hit internationally after was used in Carlos Saura’s 1976 film Cría Cuervos (Raising Crows). In Austria it reached number 13, in Switzerland number 4, and in Germany it even reached number 1.
