There have not been many days when we made you acquaint with a disgraceful incident which took place on 12th March in Jaipur when a man named Arpan Verma visited a CCD outlet with his friends. After placing his order, he noticed cockroaches inside the fridge where cake and other delicious food products are kept. Even more amazingly, the staff was trying to hide those bugs under menu cards; however, when the guy captured the entire scene and pointed at the bugs, a female staff of the outlet immediately slapped him out of fury.

He posted the entire incident on social media; nevertheless, the video of the shameful act which was posted on Twitter on 25th March has been deleted now.
This story has taken an utterly new twist as the female staff who slapped the guy has accused him of calling her a bitch and slut and thus, has lodged a case against him. Acting on the girl’s complaint, cops have detained the guy who happens to be a law student. However, the complainant did not talk about slapping the guy but we do have the proof of the same.

Arpan is the student of New Delhi’s National Law University and the alleged staff member named Priyanka Priyadarshini filed an FIR three days prior to the posting of the video on social media. A case was lodged against Arpan on Tuesday in Manak Chowk police station and as per the complaint, she had been harassed by the guy who threatened her of outraging her modesty. In her words,
“Around 1pm on March 12, Verma and another person came to the café and ordered coffee and some beverages. When I told them that only coffee was available as the branch near Hawa Mahal was temporary, they got angry and Verma called me a slut and bitch.”
Priyadarshini added that Arpan left CCD with friends but at the same time, warned her that they would come back. Her complaint read,
“They returned after 20 minutes and started taking the video of cockroaches in the café. They also focused their camera on me despite my objection. I tried to grab the camera and in the process the mobile phone fell down from Verma’s hand.”
The guy also warned her of uploading the footage on the web, as per the woman.
According to Manak Chowk police station’s station house officer, Chena Ram, “We have registered a case against Verma. He came to the police station on Wednesday.”
Contact could not be made with either of the two and hence, no comment can be made in this connection. But don’t you think that the woman has misused law for her benefit taking into consideration the video recording proof? Don’t you think that a fake complaint has been lodged by the girl and the man has been taken into custody without proper investigation?
Doesn’t it remind us of Sarvjeet and Jasleen case wherein the man still has to appear in the court for proving himself innocent in spite of the fact that eyewitnesses have claimed that it was Jasleen who was guilty in the case.
