Remember the beautiful girl who played female lead in “Jannat” opposite Emraan Hashmi? Yes, we are talking about Sonal Chauhan who made audience weak in their knees with her simple yet gorgeous look and beautiful smile.
Her last Hindi film was “3G” in which she was starred opposite Neil Nitin Mukesh and it got released in 2013. After that, she got busy with a couple of south Indian movies and now she is going to make a comeback in Bollywood with J P Dutta’s “Paltan”.
In “Paltan”, she is going to portray the character of a Rajput girl and she got this movie because J P Dutta felt that she is the perfect choice. He wanted a woman with confidence, strength and some vulnerability to play the character. Sonal had all these qualities and she is a Rajput too in real life.
This is what Sonal said about her upcoming project,
“I have admired J P sir’s films. It is an honour to be part of this huge project. I am so glad that J P sir deemed me as the right choice for the role. I can’t wait to know how it’s received by the audiences. I got a chance to say my thanks to the Indian army through this film and for that I am overwhelmed beyond words.”
