Many people try their luck in Bollywood but only a few get success and are remembered even after they stop working in the Hindi film industry. Actress Ashvini Bhave is one of those few actresses whose memories are still fresh in our minds despite the fact that her career span was not very long but she delivered some really powerful performances.
Ashvini was last seen in 1998 released Bollywood movie “Bandhan” in which she worked with Jackie Shroff and Salman Khan.
In her brief Bollywood career, she has played the roles of not just hero’s love interest but also mother of Saif Ali Khan in “Parampara”. Even though she is not seen in any Hindi flick now, the 52 years old actress is still featured in Marathi films.
Presently, Ashvini stays in San Francisco, California, with her husband Kishore Bopardikar who is a software engineer by profession. In 2007, she produced a Marathi movie “Kadachit” in which she also acted as the leading lady. Since then, she has worked in a couple of other Marathi films as well.
