Ramayan is a holy book for Hindus and it was Ramanand Sagar who made a serial for the first time on this epic. The TV show was a huge hit and it is said that at the time of its telecast, there used to be no traffic on the roads and families sat together to watch it.
Passion of people reached such an extreme level that they started considering actors as the characters in real life that they were playing in the show.
The actors of Ramayan became household name and one such actress was Deepika Chikhalia who played the character of Sita in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan.
She has undoubtedly changed a lot over years as far as external looks are concerned and this is how the beautiful actress looks like now!
Deepika made her debut in Bollywood with “Sun Meri Laila” with actor Raj Kiran. What’s more, she has done three films with superstar Rajesh Khanna and there are some regional movies in her name as well.
However, popularity that she got from Ramayan can’t be matched with any of her other works and she was not even much seen on-screen after Ramayan.
Deepika got married to a businessman Hemant Topiwala who is the owner of Shingar Bindi and Tips and Toes cosmetics. The couple has two daughters, Nidhi and Juhi Topiwala.
