Diwali is here and everyone is busy soaking in the spirit of firecrackers, colors and light. It has been decades now that these firecrackers have become an inseparable tradition. However, the only question that lies is, “What about the environment while bursting these crackers?”
Has anyone thought from that perspective? Now, if we put forth this question in front of people, there will be loads of arguments. Although some people feel that Diwali is incomplete without crackers, there is no denying the fact that pollution and global warming increase to a great extent during the festival. Even our poor animals have to bear the brunt of this noise; crackers HARM them.
However, there is one responsible citizen who just can’t tolerate these crackers! She is none other than ‘Richa Chadda’. Yes, she took to twitter and explained how burning crackers is not at all justified.
