Rishabh Pant is undoubtedly one of the most talented cricketers of the young generation but for the past some time, he is in news more for the reasons which are not related to cricket but to a Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela.
Some time back, Urvashi Rautela gave an interview in which she talked about a person whom she addressed as Mr. RP and said that he waited for many hours to meet her, called her good number of times but she was neither able to meet nor talk to him. Then she asked him to come and meet in Delhi, however due to the presence of mediapersons, things became uncomfortable for both of them.
Well, Urvashi did not take anybody’s name but everybody knew that she was talking about Rishabh Pant because some years ago, they were rumoured to be dating each other. However later on, it was also reported that they broke up and mutually decided to block each other on WhatsApp.
After Urvashi’s interview, it did not take much time for Rishabh Pant to react on it and without taking any name, he slammed those who do anything for publicity. Urvashi also responded on that social media post but online users got more fodder for having fun when Urvashi went to watch India-Pakistan match in the Asia Cup which was played in UAE.
Just before the start of the ICC T20 World Cup, Urvashi Rautela and Rishabh Pant once again made headlines when the actress made a post on Instagram in which she posted an in-flight photo and wrote that she followed her heart which led her to Australia. Currently the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 is being played in Australia and Rishbah Pant is also a part of the Indian squad so obviously this resulted in a memes fest on the social media networks.
Recently, a fan tried to troll the young left-handed batter by taking name of Urvashi Rautela but Pant gave a savage reply instead of getting angry or losing his temper.
A video is going viral in which a cricket fan is heard saying to Rishabh Pant, “Bhai Urvashi bula rahi hai” (Bro, Urvashi is calling) and the cricketer calmly replied with, “Jakar mil le phir” (Then go and meet).

As far as the T20 World Cup is concerned, Rishabh Pant didn’t play the first four matches of the Indian team and in the last match of Super 12 which was against Zimbabwe, he scored only 3 runs before getting out.
Now the Indian team will play semi-final against England on 10th Nov 2022 at Adelaide Oval and it will be interesting to see whether Dinesh Karthik will be preferred over Rishabh Pant or the selectors will go with the young wicketkeeper-batter. What do you think?
