There is no denying the fact that Kapil Sharma’s reality show Comedy Nights With Kapil was one of the most loved and favorite TV shows but at one fell swoop, we can’t ignore the essential fact that it was an overrated program as well.
Ever since the news of this show being off air came into limelight, Kapil’s fans started expressing their anger on the channel Colors TV for stealing his show and giving other comedians the same platform since it was not acceptable on the part of Kapil and his fans that the channel telecasts two shows of the same genre, while giving importance to the one which just started.
Here we can’t overlook another noteworthy point that it was CNWK which, to a large extent, made Colors TV attain the popularity and reach the position where it is today. People are missing it a lot and not getting what happened all of a sudden that things turned out to be so worse that Kapil had to end the show. So in this article, we present you what Krushna Abhishek, host of Comedy Nights Bachao, the rival show of Comedy Nights With Kapil has to say in this connection. Krushna made some interesting revelation which all fans of CNWK should read! Here’s what he stated:
“Colors was running CNWK very well. For some strange reason, Kapil had a problem when big stars started coming to my show CNB as well. He shouldn’t have left Colors, who made him into a big brand. He forgot that when Shah Rukh visited his show for the first time, it was due to Colors and not him.
Aap apna show apne dum per chalao, hum apna show apne dum pe chalayenge. Why couldn’t he have had a healthy competition with me? Why did he run away? Why did he feel so insecure? He is such a talented artiste. I thought he’ll fight back.
If you recall, he felt insecure even when Guthi’s popularity increased. Think of it, Guthi’s show too didn’t well when he branched out and quit Colors.”
On being asked, “When do you think Kapil reached his flashpoint?”
He said, “I think it happened when SRK came to my show. It would have been better if Kapil had concentrated on bettering his content, it had become monotonous.”
When asked about his friendship with Kapil, he said “We are not on great terms. We talk if and when we meet, say a ‘Hi’ followed by some small talk. He is upset with me since a long time.” He further said, “He wanted me to be a part of his CNWK gang. I refused. I didn’t want to be a part of it because the show had his name in the title.” “I didn’t even go on his show to promote my film Entertainment; Akshay and many others did. Today, I don’t need him to promote any of my films,” added Krushna.
