Even though people don’t know who Sonam Gupta is, she is being slammed on social media, because she is a “Bewafa”. A jilted lover had written Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai on currency notes and since then, she has become viral like crazy. Jokes and memes on her “Bewafai” started pouring on Twitter and Facebook. Obviously, RVCJ had a great role in making “Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai” viral.
However, this was not it; Sonam Gupta made it to the exam hall too. Yes, she has appeared in an exam paper of IIT Guwahati. Trolling students by asking tricky questions is understandable; but including such an exciting meme in the paper was completely unexpected.
It seems that a professor in the department of Electronics and Engineering is very impressed by Sonam Gupta; he set a question paper having a probability sum to solve and it had the term “Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai”.

“Determine if a person ‘x’ is bewafa, what is the probablity that Sonam Gupta is bewafa given a dependence structure between variables where all variables are binary and their high values mean the following: G means gender of ‘x’ is female (~G means the opposite), S means biological parents of ‘x’ are strict with her, W means x is wealthy, A means x is attractive, L means x has lots of options, B means x is bewafa, C means at least one other person y claims that the person x is bewafa.”
